Nitish Gupta is a serving IES officer (BRES) and Executive Engineer (Civ). His present appointment is Jt Director (RBAT). He is the recepient of Indira Award by Govt of Delhi.He studied civil engineering from NIT, srinagar. He scored AIR-200 in GATE exam (first attempt). He worked in Konkan Railway .He worked at Chenab Bridge ( world’s highest railway bridge) & Anji khad bridge ( India’s first railway cable stayed bridge). He was appointed as Dy. Manager (Group A) in NHAI . He qualified indian Engineering Service Examination 2011 (First Attempt). He worked in the capacity of officer commanding , 125 RCC ( district Tawang) He has worked on Primary NH- 13 in kingdom of Bhutan (under Project Dantak). He has also worked on NH-5 (under Project Deepak), NH-7 (under Project Shivalik),Major Bridges on NH-13 (under 1443 BCC/ Project Brahmank). He is also member of H 10 technical committee under HSS (apex committee of IRC) which amended IRC hill manual. He is a member of IRC and Institution of Engineers. He was also member of executive body of NIT srinagar chapter under Institution of Engineers India.He has also worked in cost effective Housing project (Rajiv Awas Yojna ) in delhi.
